All Faiths Ramadan Iftar, plus Prayer & Music
Join us for a beautiful evening of community, reflection, music and delicious food and drink from the Levant (Palestine, Syria & Lebanon). All are welcome as we come together to enjoy a Ramadan Iftar meal at sunset.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar -- it is believed that the Holy Qur'an was sent down from heaven as a guidance for men and women, a declaration of direction, and a means of salvation. Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of prayer, reflection, community, and fasting from dawn until sunset. During Ramadan, Iftar is the meal eaten by Muslims at sunset to break their fast.
We'll serve non-alcoholic beverages, plus dishes from Palestine, Syria and Lebanon (vegetarian & vegan options available):

Arrive between 6-7 for communing in Holy Ground's newly blessed and beautified indoor and outdoor space before prayer, welcome and dinner at 7pm.
Music by The Dude with the Oud throughout the night.
Proceeds will directly provide food, medicine, blankets, and other critical necessities to comrades in Gaza we've been working with since 2012.
