Smerglio Sangiovese by Baracchi
**Wine is only available for in-store purchase or pick-up -- it cannot be shipped**
THE TASTE
This ripe and spicy Sangiovese features dried cherries, red berries, dried plums, and cedar. The spicy notes of juniper berries and balsamic hints give this wine a delicious touch of freshness. A medium to full body wine, with fine tannins and a savory floral finish.
PAIR IT WITH
Perfect with all red meat, traditionally paired with steak, but very nice with charcuterie and cold cuts, and pasta with Ragu sauce.
THE STORY
The Barrachi Winery, located in the rolling hills of Cortona, under a shining Tuscan sun, has been producing wine for 5 generations, since 1860. Ricardo Barrachi, the owner, wanted to combine and share the world of hospitality, fine dining and wellness with the production of great wines. His idea is to produce wines that are a mirror and expression of the land, but also able to reinterpret it during the seasons using new techniques. Always with the utmost attention to the quality and genuineness of the products.
The Barrachi family invites you to taste the evolution of an ancient family tradition.
