This relaxing Yin class involves holding each posture for extended periods, allowing for deep stretching and the deep release of the fascia. The goal is to tend to the nervous system, tend to the meridians and to increase flexibility and mobility of the muscles and joints. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYin Yoga targets the inner tissues of the body, in contrast to Yang yoga, which targets the larger muscles with more explosive movements. Energetically, Yin yoga invites us to slow down, to go inward and meet the sensations in our bodies with curiosity and compassion.  All of this, coupled with Angel Music and candlelight make this an ideal way to relax and unwind at the end of the day. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis class is open to yogis of all levels including beginners.  Please bring your own mat.
