Saturday, September 19th from 7pm - 9pm
Join us for a delicious community dinner in Holy Ground's hidden garden and let's flip some maqluba together. Maqluba is one of Palestine's most iconic dishes -- cooked in a pot and then flipped dramatically with the pot removed to reveal layers of rice, roasted vegetables and spices. A vegetarian and meat option will be available.
The evening will begin with laughter, community, a non-alcoholic elixir, mezze, and music by the Dude with the Oud in our hidden garden before Samer of El Mukhtar flips the maqluba and everyone digs in.
Salad and a desert will be served alongside. Tickets are extremely limited.
**Early bird of $25 for first 10 tickets / $33 after / $19 for kids 12 & under**
Come early to peruse Watermelon Books and stay after to meet the beautiful community that is continually lifting up voices and liberation of Palestine and all oppressed people worldwide.
