Sunday, April 12th at 2pm: Tatreez Workshop

Tatreez is an art that’s been passed down through millennium, documenting the landscape, village ties and important moments in history.  Join us in community as Dani Marzouca (whose family hails from Bethlehem) shares stories and stitches, inviting guests to experience the therapeutic practice of stitching together while you create your own piece and fundraise for a displaced family in dire need in Gaza.

Instruction and all materials provided so that you can create a meaningful bookmark for yourself or to gift to a loved one.

Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to family in Gaza — click here for details and to donate on fundraiser vs. paying here.  Palestinians invited to participate at no cost or for a donation of any amount.

Also Randa Jarrar has generously donated a painting which is being raffled off to raise additional funds for the family.

Come early for complimentary tea and coffee and to peruse Watermelon Books.

We look forward to welcoming you to Watermelon Books at Holy Ground.
